Sign of the Last Days

We are certainly living in difficult and perilous times. From all parts of the earth, we hear a steady stream of news describing calamities and social unrest. Some 2,000 years ago, the Bible foretold that the world’s troubles would climax in “the conclusion of the system of things." Matthew 24:3.  People are saying, "Don’t panic, God will take care of us."  Nevertheless there is world-wide panic. Perhaps, God is trying to tell us something.  Consider some of the biblical prophecies that mark our time as unique:

“Nation will rise against nation. there will be food shortages." Matthew 24:7. (People hoarding toilet paper and hand sanitizer.)  I'm shaking my head in disbelief. "There will be great earthquakes.”Luke 21:11. Because more people live in earthquake-prone areas, the number of lives lost or disrupted as a result of earthquakes has sharply increased.

"In one place after another will be pestilences.” Luke 21:11.  Despite medical advances, millions still die each year as a result of infectious diseases. International travel and the world’s growing urban population have increased the likelihood that disease outbreaks will spread rapidly. Thus the Coronavirus. The Bible clearly states there would be disease that man cannot contain and know nothing about. 

To further complicate life, "Men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, having no natural affection for one another.”2 Timothy 3:2. Our era is one of greed and a lack of moral restraint. Such attitudes have fostered numerous social problems. Wickedness is over taking the world.

Prophecy 7 - "This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth.”—Matthew 24:14. The Bible teaches that God’s Kingdom is a real government, ruling from heaven with Jesus as King. This heavenly Kingdom will “crush and put an end to all [human governments], and it itself will stand to times indefinite.”—Daniel 2:44.  Our missionaries are being persecuted and killed for sharing the gospel.  Please pray for them.

The Sign and Your Future: After examining the evidence, millions have concluded that the Bible’s sign of the last days is now being fulfilled.  Perhaps, friends, it's time to look to the skies for the return of Christ.

Yearning
