Why is January so cold?

 Why is the month of January so cold? We shiver in our boots and wrap scarfs around us so tight that sometimes we can't tell who is under there.

I agree with most of the above. January is the month for dreaming...I'm dreaming of spring!  Feeling a little blue in January?  How can you help it when your fingers, toes and lips are blue! I haven’t read a poem in January, guess I could try it...oh; one more point to add, January is a lovely time to take a nap. Bears got that hyphenation thing down pat!

Yearning

His Banner May 2019 Yearning for Spring By Connie Hawkins It was a very long, cold and snowy winter.   I am glad that sidewalks coated with ice and dingy leftover snow piled beside the road is over.     I was already longing for spring the end of February.   I had had enough winter to last me a lifetime!
